Job Description: Supply Desk are seeking an excellent Maths teacher for Secondary School in Andover

(ANDOVER– LONG TERM COVER – AMAZING PAY RATES – TOP EMPLOYER)

Earn £110 – £185 per day! 

Supply Desk are working with a successful School in Andover that are seeking a full time Maths teacher to join their team from 24th February for long term cover with the possibility of a permanent contract. The role will be teaching Maths in Key Stage 3 and 4 with time facilitated for planning and marking. The School are looking for an excellent Maths teacher that has good subject knowledge and classroom management skills. The role is suitable for an experienced Maths teacher looking for a long term placement or an excellent NQT for Maths that is looking to secure a long term position in a successful Secondary School. 

This excellent Secondary School is based in Andover and is one of the top performing schools in the local area. Having built a reputation for achieving academic excellence, the Head Teacher together with the successful Senior Leadership Team look to recruit staff who can not only help to maintain this but continue to push their students to achieve more successes.

The candidate:

Plan, develop and deliver high quality Maths lessons in Key Stage 3 and 4 and building a strong relationship with students and colleagues.

Monitor pupil progress for Maths lessons, keeping records that include assessment outcomes and targets for Maths and set at regular intervals in line with school policy, to enable all pupils to reach their full potential

Support the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils through both classroom teaching and in the role of Form Tutor
