Full-Time Catering Teacher

Start date: Immediately

Fowey River Academy and the Leading Edge Academies Partnership are seeking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Catering Teacher to work within the Creative Industries team in supporting the faculty in the next stage of their development.
The faculty has grown in recent years and we are keen to support those subjects which offer a high percentage of employment opportunities in our area. The faculty is made up of a team of highly-skilled, passionate and dedicated professionals and we are looking for a dynamic team player to come to join them.

The successful Catering Teacher should be energetic, inspirational and enthusiastic and be able to demonstrate from the outset their love of the subject and their ability to convey this to our young people.

Fowey River Academy is evolving fast and we aim to be the school of choice in the local area. We have just joined a new, high-performing MAT and have secured multi-million-pound funding to upgrade our facilities and develop world-class learning environments. The extent of this role within the Creative Industries Faculty will be negotiated with the successful candidate and the salary will be commensurate with the agreed role and the successful candidate’s experience. They will be an excellent team player who can contribute to the success of the faculty, whatever their previous professional experience. They will be prepared to develop their own skills both working on their own and with the support of others and their first concern will always be to ensure our young people get the best teaching and support possible.
