Job Description: Job Title: Accounts Clerk

Location: Medway City Estate, Rochester

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm

Skills/experience required:

Suitable candidates will be competent in the use of Sage 50

Accounts duties will include:

* Preparation and completion of VAT returns

* Preparation and completion of Corporation Tax Liabilities

* Supplier payment – setting up new accounts, payment dates/terms

* Credit control duties

* Preparing and issuing invoices

* Creating, checking and amending direct debits

* Bank reconciliation

* Purchase ledger

* Creation and implementation of payroll data

* Dealing with queries with suppliers

* Filing and general administration duties

* Must be computer literate – Sage, Excel, Word & Outlook

* Other Accounting duties as required by the Company Directors
